As I walk around town every day I notice more and more the seemingly insignificant disconnects in the modern world. When twelve year olds can dress like twenty somethings, and smoking is frowned upon but sex on daytime tv is fine, its no wonder we have such huge disconnects in our daily lives. It is much harder find suitable long term mates unless we are lucky. We work two or three jobs just to make ends meet. We can't fend for ourselves for the most part, and rely heavily on stores to care for us. We have forgotten the most important part of being human - being ALIVE! - our experiences make us who we are and when we are connected to the computer and the tv, and the video games, we are not connected to the earth, to our families, or to our lives.
