I'm constantly challenged on the topic of plants feeling. People call me kooky and tell me plants can't feel a thing. Now science has shown that they do in fact feel pain, in fact, studies have shown that they react to a range of things. Now, having been proven right on this topic I await the day that science manages to prove plants think. There are many species that warn their neighbouring plants of impending danger, such as the Acacia tree, which releases a gas to warn others of its kind of danger. I suspect that there are plants that can alert other plants of its kind to suitable conditions nearby, as well as to the dangers nearby.
